Whole-Home Basics
Turn On Every Light
Open blinds, switch on every lamp and overhead light, and replace any dead bulbs. Consistent lighting makes rooms look bigger and brighter.
Clear Floors and Counters
Put away shoes, bags, cords, and small appliances. Clear surfaces read as more space on camera.
Hide Personal Items
Family photos, mail, medications, and anything with your name or address should go in a drawer. Buyers want to picture their own life in the home.
Room by Room
